  8. From The Daily Telegraph Smokers at increased risk of coronavirus complications, leading experts warn. Experts say higher death rates rates among men could be linked to smoking By Anne Gulland, GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY CORRESPONDENT 14 February 2020 • Lung disease experts have warned that that there could be a link between smoking and the development of complications of coronavirus as new research sheds more light on who is most susceptible to the disease. The large volume of data now being released by researchers shows clear patterns among those falling ill from the disease, now called Covid-19 by the World Health Organization. A new analysis of the first 8,000 cases of the coronavirus carried out by researchers in China and the United States shows that men are more likely to be diagnosed with the disease, are more likely to have the most severe symptoms, such as pneumonia, and are more likely to die. One reason for the bias against males may be that Chinese men are heavy smokers. The analysis was published as the latest figures show there have been more than 64,000 cases of the disease and more than 1,400 deaths. The ninth case in the UK has also been confirmed.

  11. I don't understand why you are using nicotine ? You already quit cold turkey ! Why did you relapse ? What were your excuses to smoke ? Spraying nicotine is just prolonging the torture of withdrawal. Hope you just get back up, dust yourself off and leave nicotine behind. Nicotine does not help you or serve you. Quit the opposite. Nicotine addiction OWNS you. I hope you let it go. Remember how awesome you felt about yourself on your cold turkey quit ? Use that power that you have, Beautiful one.
  12. Excellent ! Smoking had the tendency of hiding many health issues so, please consult a professional on any concerns. Congratulations on quitting smoking and being nicotine free ! Everything will get better by and by. Don't expect immediate results, it takes time to reconfigure the nicotine addict's brain. Rewarding yourself helps. The Significance of Rewards

  19. Hello, Andrew. Congratulations on quitting smoking. Have you stopped taking NRT's also ? Here are a few links to our friend, Joel Spitzer, on the issues you have mentioned; After Quitting Smoking Is There Such A Thing As Quitters Flu ? Common Symptoms
  20. You are still using Gum as a NRT, right ? If you continue to feed your nicotine addiction you will continue to have craves. The only way to freedom is to stop delivering nicotine to your body. I believe you said that you were going to stop gum 'after your exams'. There will always be an excuse to continue using nicotine, I hope you stop this craziness.

  22. OK. Family gone. Back to spank the sticks. Dinner at Brennans was good. I did have the duck, @Paul723. Duck (smoked, good) with a Satsuma glaze (meh) and oily tiny cubes of fried polenta (nope) An appetizer of smoked fish pieces in a lemon curd parsimoniously sprinkled with caviar (OK). Service was a little belligerent, insisting on removing the wine glasses for the appetizers for more table space. "NO, please ! I want wine with my appetizers" (2x) He also tried to talk me into a 'certain' rye whiskey for my Sazerac' with a long speech about the levels of flavor in rye. (pfffttt) It is hard for me to go to restaurants. My food is often better and no one argues with me about Sazeracs. Still, company was good. Now, time to bulk up my stock supply in anticipation of Jazz Fest Legendary Gumbo @ Chez Saz
  23. Happy Saint Valentine's Day to You Darling Smoke Free Creatures

About us
