  11. Yeah no amount of mint, perfume sprays will get rid of the smell of smoke! I always used to pop a spearmint gum, put a fragranced hand cream on and a spritz of perfume thinking I had it sorted lol. I was only fooling myself.

  17. Big congrats on your two month milestone @SD2026!! Woo hoo!! It is a beautiful thing that you are finding your stride. Every time you overcome a testing moment, your quit gets that much stronger. Keep rolling!
  18. Welcome aboard @FinalAttempt. We’re glad you are here! I lost several quits, myself, before things finally clicked - thanks in large measure to the good souls and quitting wisdom on this forum. You, too, can be free. It’s your birthright. No more being controlled by a chemical that has hijacked your reward centers. No more regret after a moment of madness leads to a relapse. No more emptying your pockets for other people’s profits. No more ransoming your health. And face it - withdrawal sux. So why go thru it ever again? Just nope! When things get tough, come here and read, ask for help, play games, etc. You can do this!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
