Stick of the day.....

In India, during the Lath Mar Holi festival, women hit men over the head with sticks to commemorate Krishna visiting Nandagon.

As the legends has it, the Hindu lord Krishna once visited the village of his beloved Radha.

There, Krishna teased Radha and her friends, but they did not take it lightly.

It is said that the offended women of Barsana chased him away with sticks; hence the tradition.

Keeping up with the ancient narrative, men from Nandgaon visit the town of Barsana each year, carrying shields to protect their heads.

The women there are ready, and greet them with sticks.

Although the men try to avoid being hit, not everyone is lucky.

The ones who find them surrounded, shield themselves as they receive several blows to the head,

then the women make them wear female clothing and dance in public.

Incence sticks and music. Let's forget about lustyness for a while and meditate. We can still save our soul.

Remember the trouble we got into in the man cave ?

Did we end up burning it down ?  Wasn't there some kind of incident ?

The sticks were furious.

This is true....

I should have had that therapy when offered.....it's too late for me now...I'm damaged....

Time for an Aussie Stick.... here is an Aboriginal Message Stick....

A message stick is a form of communication traditionally used by Indigenous Australians. It is usually a solid piece of wood, around 20–30cm in length, etched with angular lines and dots.

Traditionally, message sticks were passed between different clans and language groups to establish information and transmit messages. They were often used to invite neighbouring groups to corroborees, set-fights and ball games.
