FOUR DAYS???!!!!

Yes! You have made it through the toughest part! My advice would be to sock away the dough not spent on cigs - keep it separate. I didn't and it just kind of got absorbed into the regular budget. And you should get to use that $ for rewarding type things for a while.

I'm so excited for you!! Freedom is yours, your life is going to greatly improve. Being an addict sucked.

Remember, post often, we've all been there and it is helpful to be with likeminded people in times like this. I felt a bit isolated in the early time of my quit, but the boards helped me through that.

Keep up the great work!!

That's $33.00  that you would of scrounged up some how to pay for your smokes by digging the change out of your pockets, car or purse, get $5.00 less gas, cheaper bottle of wine, ect, somehow you would of came up with the money. I say give it a couple of weeks and you will have a problem holding up your pants with all that loose change in your pockets and have a 2 wheeler to haul your purse around!

Congratulations on 4 days!

good job.....nobody smokes here so you can take that off name...michelle is original around here anyways....

Looking good :)

Treat yourself to something nice, just some little luxury to start with, just to show you and bring a smile..

A bunch of beautiful flowers, New lipstick, perfume etc etc

You earned it go on ;)

The toughest part is in the rearview.. Keep going because it is so worth it!

4 days, being strong Michelle!! Agree, when you find your dosh, spend some on something wonderful that you wouldn't have done before. A mag, a scented candle cause your sense of smell is sooooo in the post any moment!!!

Love it  :D .  For all the times it feels hard remember this feeling of euphoria, not because it will be hard but so you can keep balance in your head. The excitement of seeing how wonderful the first really deep breath will feel, and when your sense of smell starts to alert you to rain...oh it was all so amazing Michelle and it will be for you too.  That's the difference of being on a board I think, the balance of good with bad and the good over shadows it for most, 100%.

I auto-withdraw my cigg money into a separate account.  I think I have like $800.00 in there right now.

Vacation for me next year!  Wooo-hoooooooooooooooooooo!

Great job, Michelle!!

That's a great idea; set up an allotment from your pay to get put into it's own "quit account".  I wish I would have thought of that when I quit.  That is a great idea.

Your ticker looks amazing, makes you feel good eh, treat yourself, every week I take the cigarette money and put it towards different things, xx
