Hey Tiger.

You are not broken - you are just remembering your battles and touching your scars.

You will be absolutely fine.

You did great to stand up to him - and to continue to stand up to him.

You are brave and brilliant.

I'd love to have you on my team.

Awww, sending you big hugs Sarah, I'm so sorry this happened to you.  Bravo for standing up for yourself.  xx

{{{{Sarah}}}}} You cant vent here all you want all of us are here for you.......Like others have said it is ok to cry set the emotions free.... I think you are stronger than you think and that you are 100% percent awesome!!!! He is the pathetic loser ahole. I hope the jackass gets what he deserves and then some.

I agree that a self defense course might help with self confidence.

Don't remember what song but was out last couple years..."I got a scar I can talk about"  that's all.

Now when you see him in courthouse, out in hall. Walk right up and kick him in the grapes. Then you will have a court story to be proud of to.

Better than kicking, cause that takes some practice to hit it right, walk up and punch him in the grapes. Easier move. Like get close, grab his shoulder with your left hand, good grip on the shirt so he cant pull back, pull downward on the shirt, either pulling him forward at the shoulders or pulling it over his head hockey style fighting, looseness of shirt will dictact which one... then when you got the momentum your way...make a good fist leaving the palm facing up, arm in 90 degree swing upwards, you will have to bend down some but that will help with the shirt move too. arc the swing so you crush the grapes.....as he yells and starts falling you got to go "It will be ok", and lower him slowly toward the floor...look around and find someone...lock eyes and say "can you help? I think he is getting sick." they will come over and ask what they can do to help. he cant breath quite yet and might throw up from this while you walk away.......

((((Sarah )))) - so sorry I am late but just wanted to send love and positive thoughts your way. It is OK to cry - in fact tears can be good sometime. You have shown how strong you are you walked away AND quit smoking - so I know you can do this, but remember we are here to support you if you need it. So proud of you sweetie xx

Thanks for putting up with me, feeling a not better today.

I told my boss why I was off and it turns out his wife's ex husband used to hit her so he said I could take any time I needed, which was pretty awesome, but embarrassing made me cry, not cool.

Anyhoo, thank you.

So glad to hear that today is a better day!  Your boss sounds like a very nice guy, that understands.  I would have cried, too!

I wanted to give him a big hug but probably not appropriate! An hour or so later he came back saying he'd spoken to his wife and if I needed to talk to anyone I could talk to her, turns out she's a councillor. It might not be a bad idea after my little breakdown yesterday.

That might just be a great idea Sarah, certainly give it serious consideration. Glad that you are feeling a little less raw today xx

I think having a safe outlet would be an amazing tonic for you Sarah, how lovely of him and her. Reminds you there are lovely people in the world still.

I'm pleased you felt a little better after your emotional day. Sometimes there is no choice but to let out all that bottled up emotional stuff out, crying is incredibly healthy.  Still have you wrapped in a cyber hug though sweetie.

xx
