I'll say #3 didn't happen.

You wear thongs (flip-flops) a lot so why would you buy socks at all? Mind you, you did say something about not being able to sleep when your feet are cold and it is winter there now - sort of.

The winner is Saz....

1. I bought a white coffee cup covered in black line drawings of pineapples...because 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍

2. I picked up a purple hoody with a map of Australia made out of native animals for $11 but pit it back.

3. I bought a pack of 5 socks covered in fluro palm trees because the theory is none of the other buggers I live with will flog them cos they are so uggers.

Over to you @Sazerac

PS...my preferred footwear is thongs, summer or winter but I have to wear close toe shoes at work so would rather wear boots, hence the socks.

@jillar wins the yardbird dinner !

I could mend sails, but, I haven't.

@reciprocity

When I lived a ways up a dirt road, during major rains,

I would put on rain gear, grab my mattock and go out to 'ditch the road'

which is making a shallow diagonal ditch across the bed of the road,

draining water into the bigger ditch on the low side of the road.

Digging and cleaning the bigger ditch took a shovel or a back-hoe.

"In the old days, in a bad rainstorm, the farmer went out with a hoe and cut herringbones off the side of the road,

so the water would go off the side instead of washing out the middle of the road,"

(from 'Road Maintenance on Your Dirt Road)

It was actually fun work, playing in the water.

I am going to say #3.  You definitely are pretty enough.  I am guessing they may have been game shows but I could see you on a soap.  Your hubby looks like an actor, so Grandpa could have been.

Boy some people live exciting lives.  If I posted here, all three of mine would have to be lies.  Linda lived a dull life!

He died before I was born but we have a bunch of the VHS's of movies he was in. Ironically my brother's ex wife is the one who hunted them down and bought them.

I am an old movie buff.  What was his name?
