September 25, 201411 yr I am being audited by the I.R.S. tomorrow morning ( most likely all day ) for the years 2012 and 2013. I thought that I was ready,,, but now that it is close I keep second guessing myself..... They are actually coming here..... Step number one is to verify that a business is actually at this property???.. Really?? I can already calculate 800.00 in fines plus the bill for the 5 days my accountant has put into this!!! Why dont they investigate people who have the extra money to hide??? what a waste of everyone's time!!

September 25, 201411 yr Try not to worry. We were audited several years ago, and it was no big deal. Easy to say after the fact, I'm sure. Sounds like you and your accountant have your ducks in a row. Sometimes I think the IRS just pulls names or numbers out of a hat for audit purposes. Good luck! :)

October 10, 201411 yr Author Thanks everyone,,, Been Quiet,... so far there was only one additional request for more information. So all we do now is wait and see what happens this Tuesday. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone up north of us!!! Have a great long weekend here in the states!
