Glad you're right back at it @Molly2310, don't forget to update your quit date so we know where you are in your quit if you have questions.

If you're looking for more inspiration consider adding a ticker to your signature. Its so cool logging on each morning and seeing all the time, money saved and cigarettes NOT smoked since you quit. It also shows what you'll be giving up should you cave to a crave...

Welcome back Molly. Go ahead and grab a seat on the train. I am proud of you for deciding to kick the nicotine monster right back to the curb. Remember that you are stronger than the addiction and you deserve to be smoke free.

Welcome Molly.  So glad your ready to quit.  You can do this.  Just got to take a deep breath and stop.  Freedom is wonderful.  I smoked for 40 years and have been quit for 4.

Sometimes, well every time, you get to bedtime it’s such a sense of pride to say you beat today, kicked ass in not smoking, just today.  I’m told it doesn’t always have to be that way but for us newbs it’s quite the win. Hugs Molls!! You did great today!!

Congratulations Molly, tomorrow you kick that addiction again. Then you go to sleep and repeat. Have faith in your ability to be smoke free. It's not going to be easy but it is 100% doable. You got this!!

Hi Molly--

It's FANTASTIC that things have been pretty good in these first couple of days.  I sincerely hope that it remains that way (and it's possible they will), but be ready with some tactics to deploy if things get bad--even really bad.  Remember that there is no legitimate reason to smoke and, ultimately, abstinence is always possible and always the right choice.

Keep up the great work!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
