December 4, 20187 yr The kid has done more shopping than me.... she has bought for the 5 besties... her 2 from Primary school (and ones brothers) ... and her 3 from high school.... plus her favourite teacher, the bus driver (cos he lets her off closer to home on hot days and rainy days and he didn't crash the bus)..... and the cops... every year since she was 4 she buys boxes of chocolates (favourties, roses and lindt balls) and tins of shortbread and on Christmas Day i have to take her to the cop shop so she can give them to the coppers for christmas. So I have bought 3 bags of jerky and a chocolate snow man... and that's it.... oh and the niece and nephew... but really that's it... beaten by a 12 yo.

December 4, 20187 yr Not much shopping to do. The grand kids aren't much fun anymore. They are adults now and just want cash. My husband and I like to save it and do a major project in the house, so we really don't buy for one another. My mom and dad are very well off and don't need anything. I normally make them peanut clusters. The only one I definitely have to shop for is the single son. He does not have a wife to buy him new underwear and work pants. Mom always comes through in that area. ? I am trying to concentrate on the true meaning of the season.

December 10, 20187 yr Um... well... um..... I have some jerky and a chocolate snowman and the presents for my niece and nephew.... so yep nothings changed.... I don't even know what to get the kid... she asked for jerky... check.... she asked for jerky... I got jerky... yay me... the boys will be fine, can sort them the day before... um ... yep basically I am rooted... not sure what to get her... she wants some dvds so will have to hit JB HiFi... and she wants a necklace with something on it but she doesn't know what she wants.... I kid you not that's what she asked for... she has lockets and crucifixes but nope wants something different.... Argh!... I feel like getting her an attitude transplant but not sure how I will wrap it.
