June 28, 20188 yr Congratulations @zenith for being one month smoke free! The first month is the hardest one so well done for getting through it. Make sure you do something special to reward yourself and celebrate and pop in to let us know how you spoilt yourself.
June 28, 20188 yr Congratulations @zenith 1 tough month down, you've held steadfast, hoping to emulate this in a few weeks myself. Great job, and thanks for the inspiration.
June 29, 20188 yr Aw thanks everyone I appreciate it!! The first few weeks were really tough but it's gotten easier. I'm doing my best to just deal with any stressful situations that arise rather than avoiding them, which I'm finding cigarettes gave me an "excuse" to do. I'm also on a home decorating kick and have been making little improvements around the house, so that's nice I guess. Interesting ride so far.. thanks your your support!
June 29, 20188 yr Doing great Z!! Learning to deal with stress after quitting is a challenge for a while just because we program out brains to believe smoking help relieve stress when it's actually the opposite. Smoking adds stress as we are in a constant race to feed aour addiction and YOU said it right . Cigs gave you an excuse to avoid stressful situations - not deal with them Welcome to the 1 month Club! Celebrate the occasion!
