Took a Step class at the gym tonight. The instructor said, "Has anyone taken the LifeBarre class in the next studio?" No one had. "Well, it's really hard!" Coming from an instructor, that says a lot. Coincidentally, my friend was taking the LifeBarre class she was talking about for the first time tonight (we met up so our girls could hang out, but she didn't want to take the Step class, and I LOVE Step.......anywhoo......). So I asked her how it went, and she said she hasn't sweat that much in a LONG time, and it was super challenging. Ballet cardio moves, stength, core work. I think TRX is more cardio (like burpees and jumping jacks) and weight strength, but maybe not "dancey/pilates/core." That however is my GUESS! Guess it depends on what you like. :) Helpful as mud, I'm sure! :)
