  1. Hi Thomas and welcome to the Quit train! So glad you decided to make the choice to quit smoking! You will get a ton of support in this forum and lots of very good information. Stick around and when you are having a craving just post on here and everyone will be so supportive. I have been quit for only 7 1/2 months but the support that I got and am still getting from all the people on here is amazing! They have helped me through some very difficult times. So please stick around and good luck!!
  2. Thanks everyone!! I'm hoping everything will be ok but at least I'm not smoking
  3. Hi everyone!! My husband and I have had a fight!!! I want to smoke!!! But, I didn't!! We are on the verge of separating, but yet we can't because we can't afford it. I am so upset and I don't want to deal with this, because he is still my husband! I didn't smoke, so I guess that's a good thing. Ohh and I don't have cigs but my mom lives downstairs from me, so I could take them, but I never would! I think I am doing ok? What do you think!!?? I am so upset tonight!!! I may not answer you until tomorrow or the next day. Thanks for your replies! I really appreciate it everyone!!
  4. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! I did very well last night. I had a friend over last night who smokes and she goes out on my terrace to smoke, so I kind of got an urge a couple of times when she went out there, but I did well and didn't smoke at all!!! Yay for me!! I hope you all had a great New Years Eve!!
  5. Thanks Jill. I think I will be ok tonight. For the most part I have gotten used to having a few drinks without smoking. In the beginning it was very difficult but now after 7 months I’m much more used to it. Happy, Healthy and Smoke Free New Year!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
