  1. Dang, not on Netflix!
  2. Welllll it's not always easy, but I try and look at it as, what in life is always easy? Stay strong. In my early days I'd listen to Allen Carr's audio book whenever I felt like I was 'missing out' or any of that rot. It was a Great comfort to me. The important thing is, you got through it! One more victory in the books for you.
  3. I have an account but have stayed away on purpose. Heard it's evil.

I just recently started listening to sleep meditations on YouTube and they are good for calming frayed nerves.
  5. I love the name Lynn too :)
  6. What is this that you speak of? What is it about?
  7. W Wowser!
  8. You guys are too much!! Hahahah. I myself only do egg beaters. So I guess I'm out.
  9. I was driving for the first time in a month! Today. (Other than one dismal attempt 3 weeks ago). Lesson learned, sunglasses are imperative, I had to put drops in my eyes while driving. I did ok with the right eye, but for everyone's safety, gave up trying with the left eye. What is a Bandito burger?
  10. Jen, You ain't got no time for smoking. Get your azz on that treadmill. Chew on some hot tamale gum.

  13. I am so glad to hear you are back on track. Not a one of us deserves all the horrors that go hand in hand with smoking. No more! Not for us.
  14. I'm peaking in from work. Working on Saturdays is not that much fun. Lemme tell ya. I have already put in 62 hrs this week, not counting working from home. Good thing I'm salaried.
  15. Natasha - another great name.
  16. Just remember now that you got that behind you it will get better each day! The scariest, hardest day is behind you. My huge props to you for jumping right back on the quit, that is amazing. Keep soldiering on...it gets a million times better. I haven't had a craving in .... gosh I don't even remember when. Very soon you will be the same way!
  17. My favorite term hands down is "DB." I think it in my head even more than I say it.
  18. Thanks guys. I tell myself, 'death and taxes.' I wish I lived in Europe. I think that would be so much fun.
  19. Sorry I had to do it. I'm just messing with you guys. ;-)
  20. Evelyn, I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom was killed in a car wreck 21 years ago and I have no doubt it's effected my life in almost every aspect. Grief can be isolating. This book, I remember, helped me so much: http://www.amazon.com/Motherless-Daughters-Legacy-Loss-Anniversary-ebook/dp/B00G1SD5FW/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1396661160&sr=1-1&keywords=motherless+daughters
  21. My real name is Jen. ((shocker)) But I think the name Ava is very nice, so I took it here.
  22. They are absolutely darling!! They must get their looks from your wife.
  23. Many many reasons. I believed until the very end that I 'loved' smoking. Allen Carr opened my eyes and saved my life. I was a secret smoker, and they started an initiative at my company that if you smoked you had to fill out a form and pay like $30 more a month. I reallllly did not want to 'come out of the closet.' I had to be at least 6 months quit by Dec 2013. When I decided to quit, I knew if I waited too long, I would not do it. So I quit before the deadline of June, I quit the end of April. When I used to smoke, every time I'd try to go to sleep I'd stress stress stress about how I was killing myself, but smoking was priority #1. I'd be so stressed about the whole situation that it'd make me want to smoke. Looking back on all that, wowee. I can't imagine still being that girl, a hot mess. So much stress goes away when the smoking goes away.
