-6 Hi, Doreen! Still smoke free, and I got engaged this past Saturday....
  7. Still using my treadmill regularly. I have changed things up a bit. I now do at least a mile and a half daily, but at a sustained incline of at least 5%, for the full 30 minutes, on the machine. Speed is 3.5 MPH. I may gradually increase the time, a little bit, to increase calorie burn. I am convinced, though, that after a certain age, it is nearly impossible to lose weight. Kat

My youngest son was mandated to be vaccinated, because he serves in the USAF. He was able to go off base, in Japan, and get the J and J vaccine, because he was concerned about a risk to his reproductive organs, from the RNA based vaccines, and wanted to become a Dad. This risk has been known for several years. He now has a 15 month old son. Kat

  16. I am in Pennsylvania, at my oldest son’s home. My youngest is here from Japan, so I finally got to snuggle my 2nd youngest grandbaby, who is already a year old. Happy times. I will be here for another week. Tomorrow, I will see my brother, and one of my dear friends. I have plans with several .other family and friends over the next week, as well. It’s a bit of a whirlwind tour, but well worth it. It was weird not putting up a tree at home, because we wouldn’t be there. Nothing is ever perfect, I suppose. It is great to be with family and friends that I’ve missed so much. kat

  24. When I ran on the treadmill ( and I use the word ran loosely, because, I mostly power walked), I would do 2 full miles daily, all uphill. Since I had to switch to my driveway course, I thought I was doing a shorter distance. I couldn’t figure out why it took longer. Was I going slower? So, my boyfriend measured the course for me. It turns out each lap is 350 feet, so longer than I thought. Multiplied by 33 laps and divided by 5,280, it works out to almost 2.2 miles. So, Yea me! The extra length somewhat makes up for the lack of incline. I’m getting a pretty good workout, and doing it every single day. Go, Grandma, Go! 😊😂 Kat
