  14. Good, that's not far off. If you already had a cough prior to today's blood it really could be as simple as a burst surface vessel. The pain can be straining of the intercostal muscles (between the ribs) or pressure from irritation swelling related the coughing. Remember for every worst case scenario there is a best case. Best of luck for the third.

  21. Right @Berkshiredrifter you need to get th doctor for a check up. If it is something sinister the sooner its dealt with the better. Best wishes for it to just be a burst vessel from coughing to long and hard, which would also give you chest pain.
