  1. That is so better than what i was thinking.
  2. ooo... ooo.... pick me... pick me... Morris dancers,.... white pants and long sleeve top, some sort of ribbony chest crossing thing, a straw hat with flowers and ribbons, 2 white hankies to wave and bell pads strapped to their shins.... will this picture help?? (all you would need to 'make' is the chest bit, and the shin pads, possibly they hankies and then stick some cheap plastic flowers all over a cheap hat.)
  3. Zoo - Paul Kelly Zooropa - U2 I added the video clip for Deficate on My Face if you wanna scroll up... I've been dying to use this in answer with a song title but its just not seemed to be the right answer.
  4. X.Y.U. - The Smashing Pumpkins

  7. Not this week... the Pies ate the Bombers this week. What's happened to the 'hot' Dogs?
  8. So doctor said Tuesday night i have to stay on this ridiculous diet for another week... so technically I am half way to freedom... I have been pretty good and Coles have come to the party by now having zucchini (courgette) noodles in ready made bags. So today (which was hard because I normally have gunfire breakfast on ANZAC day and also an ANZAC toastie for lunch but could have neither)... was Breakfast ... ANZAC biscuit porridge... porridge with golden syrup, coconut and some pan tossed oats on top. Lunch ... pineapple, pear and apple salad with some basil, lime and ginger dressing i made. Tea ... stir fry beef and veg with some zucchini noodles. Coffee - still can't drink it black... but i have been a bit naughty and snuck a few (no more than 1 a day) coffees with a teaspoon of low fat milk.... its still gross but i'm holding the coffee fix demon at bay. Tea - I've been drinking it black fine, have been going between Russian Caravan, Assam and Kangaroo Tea (Aussie Afternoon Tea). Had a bit of a sook getting my blood test yesterday arvo because I'm just so over it all.
  9. Not sure what twizzlers are but I think they might be lollies... anyway I started this quit big, like big big, and even as a kid when I was swim training 6 days a week at least 1 session and playing or umpiring netball 4 days a week and softball in summer, I was still big not big like now but not as thin as one would expect for the amount of activity I did and our junk food was fish n chips on Friday and everything else was super healthy.... so anyway I start this quit already extremely over weight and I thought get to month 3 (90 days to break the back of the habit) and then worry about the weight, until then the quit is all that matters. umm.... what the hell is TT because all I'm drawing blanks. So energy levels are really low due to my stupid doctor diet (for some tests) so haven't been doing much. Have had to stop walking the shepherd as he is just too hard to control. Usually I can get the kid to walk him once a day as for some strange reason he behaves for her. Sarge is still getting his daily walk but he is so lazy, goes as far has the first corner then sits down to come home if I don't turn... the little shit is nearly 40kg and i can't shift him.
  10. TISM - Deficate on my Face
  11. Rose I occasionally still get those muscle memory announcements... they aren't really craves anymore... more their like oh I usually do something else now, what do I do?, oh that's right I smoke, wait a minute I don't smoke, stupid Jo smoked but thats finished with now.... and then I move along. In the earlier days of my quit it was extreme... the muscle memory smoking prompts were vivid and a bit of a side swipe that rattled my resolve... now they are almost funny when they happen they are so pathetic... You really are doing well with your quit, buckle up because there are likely to be a few more bumpy days in your journey yet, half way to one month done. Keep it up.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
