:( footy and rugby don't look the same... rugby looks like gridiron without all the padding and helmets... footy looks like school yard chaos... and your fishing to aren't you? Aussie Rules is not rugby... completely different sports... Aussie Rules is a sport we invented over 100 years ago, which is a cross between an Aboriginal game (mangrook) and Gaelic (irish) football that is played on a cricket oval with a rugbyish shaped ball... completely different.... I didn't know anything about ice hockey and I've managed to pick up a bit in a pretty short amount of time... wait, did you just go fishing Reci???

Good morning my fellow Nopers... and as we travel this day on the QT lets reflect on the fact that sometimes you catch the biggest fish with the smallest of bait... so on that note: NOPE, not today, not tomorrow, not ever, never again. See having a shit day is no excuse for a loss... you loose, you loose mate... you can't tell me games 1-3 are played with the same intesity as a game 7... I reckon revenue plays a big part of it... anyway as I said above I'm frickin loving it, I'm converted, just have to deprogram 41 years of conditioning that the best team on the day is the best team, you don't bring your A game there is no second chance cos you have to leave it all on the field. Anyway of any of you ever want to see the best example of a game of footy (AFL, Aussie Rules... cos yes we invented it and its nothing like rugby or gridiron) watch the 1989 Grand final... 5 seconds into the game one team took out the other teams enforcer off the ball, breaking his ribs... he played the whole 2 hour game (match time, they have to 10min breaks & 1 20min break) and then left the ground and spent the week in hospital with a punctured lung. Another player played after having his sternum broken.. Its fast, its over a huge ground and its physical... best sport on earth..

Played a game of mixed, rebound netball (netball on an indoor cricket court, mixed as in sticks and chicks) I am so sore I probably wont be able to move today...no, no, no i am not coming out of retirement.... that's it I'm dunsky.... 40mins (4 x10min quarters with 2 1.5min breaks and 1 x 3min break) of play on a netball court where I was probably old enough to be halfa their mums. OMG I am to old, fat and unfit for this shit that's why i retired me netball skirt nearly 3 years ago. So someone else can walk the dogs cos I did my shit.. my arms feel like sgetti, my knee and ankle are kindly reminding me of their existance and i just feel even more exhausted than I normally do since starting this farkle darke doctor diet. So yay us we won, so not yay our new wizz bang goal attack who says to me after the game "you did really good for an old lady. My mum couldn't do that"... F.U. mr I'm 16 an invicible... no, no, no,.... my mate can ring me 329 times in a row next week and i will not answer, and i will not fill in for her kids teams... not happening any more.... probably until they ring.

Well not a ridgy didge newbie now... my first month anniversay was lost in the horror that was my christmas from hell. I hadn't even realised until Jillar noticed and gave me a not. Since month 2, I buy myself a new t shirt each monthly anniversary with variations of NOPE on the front, so far I have one in a baseball style, one in Morse code, one in binary and not sure the next one will be yet but I better make a decision soon... I have also bought a laptop and paid for the kids camp.
