  5. The kid frickin loved this... and the stoned cousins did too.... Mozart Magic Cube... played 6 different pieces of Mozart and had 6 different instrument sounds. Once the music was playing you could turn the 6 instruments on or off... so you could have just french horn or you could add in the other 5 instruments...
  6. Congratulations @Kermit on being smoke free for 5 months. I know you don't get in as much as you would like but well done on making it to the 5 month marks. You are going to sell with your quit. Hope you get a chance to pop in and give us your monthly update. Do something awesome to celebrate this milestone.
  7. Well done chook... 3 months and as the people say its going to get easier each day... those 3 months you just got through, that's the worst of it.. done, dusted and over... sure the battles not over but its easier.
  8. bucketed all weekend so no walking of the beasts. Looking sunny today but expecting more rain tonight... might walk them during the day but I doubt it.. they are easier to walk at night because they behave better, Sarge doesn't want to sit there and bark at the cars driving past and Gunn doesn't want to jump every front fence he sees... which is basically every second house.
  9. the Kid... Tunisia = Tuna Island .... ah the dyslexia, the disability that just keeps giving... we are only getting live feeds of the Aussie games... have to pay for the non-aussie games... but have been following them on the tranny if I am awake.

Keep up all your hard work and keep fighting the nicodemon. Make sure you take some time today to spoil yourself today to celebrate this new milestone.
  12. Congratulations @Ren smoke free for 3 months!! Well done Ren, this is a great start to your quite. You should be so proud of yourself because despite what life and your own body have thrown at you over the past few weeks you have been smoke free for 3 months. 3 months is 1/4 of the way, yep 25%, to the Lido Deck and you first year of freedom. I'm sure you are seeing some benefits from your quit by now so hold onto the thoughts of those. Keep up you fantastic work and celebrate today. Don't forget a reward, rewards are important, and fun.

  17. Hello NOPErs... time to start the new working week. What a great way to start the week, with International Picnic Day. Now in wet and windy Melbourne our picnic will be held on the lounge room floor. We will be having a proper packed picnic just incase its dry... but there will be hotdogs in one thermos and hot chocolate in another and some cupcakes... winter picnic done. Those moments when I wish we had Yanky gun laws in Aus (Yep I had to ring my daddy at 1am on a Monday morning to come rescue me cos I was trapped in the kitchen by one of these fvckers on the roof.) Topic of the Day: (Just for @Wee fluffy me ) .... its back CAKES

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
