Oddball is an Aussie movie @Boo so don't be disappointed you hadn't heard of it. It's based on a true story though. At Maddie's age the kids favourite TV show was an Austrian Police drama called Inspector Rex.... totally in German which neither of us speak but she loved it. Let's start with what I'm not doing, I'm not cruising at an altitude of 13,000ft half way to Sydney..... what I am doing is waiting in the terminal after spending 30mins sitting on a plane where the engine stalled on the runway waiting for a new plane.

Omg....you in for a nice warm summer @Doreensfree. Remember the blockout... all the locals know the rules, Slip Slop Slap. One of the nicest beaches I've been too. From memory the surf is pretty mild rougher at the end closest to town but much calmer if you walk a bit further north. The theme parks if that's ya thing, are about a 2 hour drive away but that could be a day for the kids.

Olivia Newton-John burst onto the wordl stage as Sandy but she had been stunning us all down under with her country singing and yodelling for years...then you mob stole her and turned her into a Pop singer....but she was more than just an entertainer, despite her long battle with cancer she gave so much back diwn here, hell she even gave us a hospital and was the first one back for any charity event.... VALE Olivia, may you be singing with the chior and pain free from now on. RIP..

Soo..just went and put the plug in the bathroom sink, filled it up and the pulled the plug to observe the direction the water drained. It drained CLOCKWISE. So I went an flushed the dunny....our toilets don't swirl when ya flush em.....so I asked Madam Google and I now know a shit ton more than I ever did about the Coriolis effect...but no idea about water going down drains.....I like to believe the science source I read that said it's both...it just depends on the physicality of the sink and the plug hole. RANDOM THOUGHT - why did I spend an hour of my Saturday morning confirming to my family I am a bit more than slightly insane.
