  1. Now listen here Pilgrim. I reckon there are 2 choices here. The first is to lie on the ground next to a pile of dung and the other is to jump right back on that horse.
  2. One day, hopefully soon, you’ll come to see that smoking actually adds stress rather than relieves it. It’s hard to sit through a movie when you’re thinking “How much longer before I can rush out and light up?” It sucks when you can’t enjoy a nice meal out on the town with friends because you’re so fidgety to feed your addiction. It takes time to get to the point where you don’t obsess about smoking and think of it as a reward, but when you finally clear that hurdle you’ll feel more free and unburdened than you’ve ever felt before.
  3. 12 years!!! That calls for some prancercizing!
  4. Just checked in the other day after a multi-year hiatus. Very sad to see this news. Jill was so passionate and dedicated to helping others overcome this merciless addiction. Aside from her stalwart support for people going through rough patches, she also liked a good time. Her jokes and socializing lifted the spirits of many around here. She'll be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
