  7. Gitw - you are at the point in your quit where things are going to start to turn around for you. I thought the ugliness was never going to end too but then at about the 1 month point, it started to get better for me. It's different for all of us but it's a fact that it WILL get a lot better :)

  16. On top of the overeating, I believe most people experience a change in their metabolism as well when they quit smoking; and, not in a good way either. The calories do not burn as fast for whatever reason. I'll take a little extra weight over a pine box any day!

  21. Welcome back Evelyn. I sincerely hope you can make it through those tough initial quit days this time around. Learn from past failed attempts, develop that steely hard, positive mindset and go do it! We will be here to back you up :)
  22. I'm just curious, what part of the foot is this injury (partial tear of the plantar fascia)? I haven't heard that term before.You said you need to remain flat footed while you're on your feet so is it somewhere along the bottom of your foot?? I could google it but I'm pretty lazy that way.

  24. Fabulous Jacqueline :) You're still pretty early on in your quit so you are gonna get those up and down days. It will start to smooth out more the longer you get into your quit though. Glad you have your list of reasons and yes, the NOPE; always the NOPE, every day :)
