  1. Chicks were washing up after dinner I guess OO
  2. Welcome - you are good to go now my friend. Great place with supportive people and , a lot of your old friends too Glad you didn't lose your quit too!! I think I posted something about that in the "curse thread" the other day? (Off The Record page at the bottom main board)
  3. ^^^ They sure ain't $1.50 anymore - lol Love the olive green Paisley print - nice touch
  4. You are almost a month in now so yes, those cravings should be getting a little less intense and infrequent. This alone may easy the headache symptom you are having. My worst one was sinus issues that lasted a while but eventually went away, I was confused because I figured my sinuses should have been happier once I quit but, as others have said, quitting plays havoc with our body systems for a while until it settles back into "normal" mode
  5. I think a carton was about $80.00 - $90.00 when I quit so they would be more now but, the people who are really paying through the nose are the people down-under. I believe they are paying $25.00 a pack there Maybe Givein can confirm that? Just goes to show, people will smoke no matter what the cost!!
  6. New Federal Budget in Canada is out today and they are putting another $1.00/carton of 200 cigarettes on the cost. Put tax on top of that and it's even more, plus retailers tend to take these opportunities to add a little for themselves. Just in the year I have quit, there's been at least 2 increases and that price will NEVER go down - never!! It's all music to my ears of course now that I have quit and ..... even more motivation never to go back to feeding this addiction. I'm rich .... I'm rich!!
  7. Congrats CL doing great. I will post up a big celebration thread Mar. 1st - look for it
  8. I remember one a loooooong time ago called "The Hand". Something similar I think. Just a hand that wanders around killing people - lol Pretty funny when you think about it
  9. ^^^^ What's in those things anyway? I never understood how they worked.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
