  3. Something I found helpful in lessening that "morning one" craving was to change up my morning routine just a bit. I did things in a little different order than I did when I was smoking. That made me focus on what I was doing a little more I guess so my mind wasn't in idle thinking about smoking. Hope you learn lots today about this addiction. Understanding how nicotine addiction works is the key that will set you free!

  21. Yes! Don't listen to him. He knows nothing about quitting is my guess. Some people just look at the negative side of everything. If he's a smoker, I'm betting he wants to quit too and is jealous that you are brave enough to do it before he does.. You are taking a positive step - not a negative one. Let him be the one to eat crow at the end of the day

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
