  1. Evelyn, I hope that you are ok. Fingers crossed you didn't break your quit, but if you did just check in and start again my lovely. You know, years ago, I read a story about someone quitting and they took to their bed for a couple of weeks, just slept it out, the body going into shock part of it. Sleep might be the best medicine at the moment. Hope that you are ok my lovely xx
  2. Fabulous news, you're one of the happiest non smokers I know xx
  3. Well done, head down and keep doing what you're doing...be two 'months' before you know it ;)
  4. Good work Sue, fabulous news xx
  5. Stu!...don't forget to post your piccys of your shabby chic makeover, am looking forward to seeing them. Ross, you too!....waiting to see pictures of your furniture makeovers, right up my street.
  6. Am reading this... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Farrow-Ball-Living-Colour-Byam/dp/1849750386 Really beautiful interior ideas and really makes you think about colour, and how to use it if your room is north or south facing. On their website (Farrow and Ball) you can also get a free ideas booklet. Very pleased with my purchase.
  7. Awww Leanna, how beautiful.....kisses and cuddles overload no doubt? Can imagine you will be a fabulous owner xx
  8. Happy Birthday my lovely, hope you are having a 'reem' day xx
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the board. I can relate to your post as I went through a phase, many years ago, of limiting myself to just 4 a day...would have the 'well at least I can have 4, better than facing the thought of none!' Read up, chat to people and do whatever you need to do to get your head straight, that life will be ok without the 3 and in time will be better than you can ever imagine....I promise you.
  10. I warmed to Matt, cried a little on his regeneration episode, but it will always be David for me with the fabulous Catherine Tate. Not really that excited about the new doctor, older than me, an older doctor just makes it seem dated to me. Hopefully I am wrong and will connect with him.
  11. Four months already Lace? Time is just whizzing along, many congratulations to you xx
  12. Great post and so very true. Makes you grateful to be finally free everyday doesn't it?
  13. So glad that you've set yourself free from the prison that is smoking. Can't remember if we have cyber met before? So if not a great big hello to you...soon be 4 weeks ;)
  14. Hello Pussycat and welcome. The depression side maybe just keep your eye on it, you know yourself so if it is beyond 'the norm' I'm sure your doctor will help. Congratulations on your 3 months, fabulous! I remember it being totally pants but you have my word, it does pass and you're in for some mental peace of mind.....soon xxx
  15. Glad that you're fine Tracey xx
  16. So lovely to cyber see ya Julie and you sound on top of the world! Just brilliant, like you say why the hell didn't we do this years ago? I've hadva great day already but your postive post made it even better, made up for you xx

I confess to once stealing quite a few prawns that my mum had defrosted for a prawn salad that night. My uncle Neil paid a visit, dad assumed it was our Neil, I didn't correct him...phew, feel better confessing..lol Once two timed in my late teens....never got caught, phew.
  19. Fabulous darling, just fabulous xx
  20. Thanks ever so much guys. I used to be all cookie dough and mahogany, or pine, due to having dogs and kids. Just so lovely to inject colour now and not have to play it safe. Stu, I hope you post the pictures as I just LOVE looking at projects others have done....gives me even more inspiration and ideas. You too Ross, post some of your projects if you get the time as I would love to see them. Fabulous day today as I purchased the paint for all the dining room furniture. I went for bamboo leaf (olive shade) so plan to paint the walls white so the furniture comes even more to life. Saw a fabulous mini table in a junk shop today, only £20. It looks like it came from a pub and I loved the detail and shape. Sadly no room in the car today but will hopefully be able to make a purchase. I was thinking to paint it, pop on my very mini patio behind the garage and pop my herb pots on it. There are some fabulous colours around at the moment. I transformed my conservatory old pine furniture by using Dulux's Blue Reflection, almost a duck egg blue shade. So,I have found Cuprinol's beautiful country cream shade and can just imagine the 'eye flow' from the sideboard out to the gorgeous cream as a back set, with beautiful evergreen bushes in a border. Like I said, so excited as I am just loving this make over lark. Sure as hell beats chuffing on a chemical stick ;)
  21. Same thing happened to me Bonnie, craves came back months after stopping. I don't know about you but I first felt damm well frustrated then fearful, fearful that I was always going to feel like this. You have my word it does go away, the frustration and fear (or insert any emotion that applys) I can not wait to post a congratulations to yourself and the rest of the gang when you hit your one year, might even push the boat out and have a Baileys.... ;)
  22. So glad to see you Evelyn....you can do this, a day at a time. Xxx Have a lovely sleep.
  23. Doreen, I had to find this to say it was 20 years ago tonight we met in that Bonkers bar..lol..best night of my life ;) We danced to the old classic and I think we might need to have a boogie tonight. Twenty fabulous years...am made up.
  24. All the best to you. I can only imagine it to be be a tricky testing time at the moment, fingers crossed it all passesfor you very quickly. Xx
