  1. Just passing by. Hope everyones feeling good and still smokefree. Hey did you guys manage to evade covid? That got real. Im smokefree since 2016. Its possible to quit smoking. Lost some of my sense of humour in the process, but all is good now. Sent rec a PM. Hes such a pig. Anyways. I enjoyed this forum. I was a bit reckless sometimes, but i suppose i was going through bad luck, never meant to be rude. Probably not coming back to online forums so, just quit smoking lads. Thats is not a decent way of living, putting that stuff in your precious lungs. Not even sure i did anything good here, but im being sincere when i say: anyone can quit. Thats my message, my swansong. Now i must go. The world needs me. jkjk Best wishes. Stewie edit: wait why am i posting this in this thread?? wtf

Not sure what this message is worth, not sure why i am here, not sure about this place or the people i met here some time ago, but for what it is worth, just let you guys know im sorry for what happened one year ago. I have a mental illness and things got really complicated between september 18 and february 19. It just all went crazy it was out of my control. I feel like speaking a little bit with a few people here, but i dont really want to intrude so if anyone in particular wants to hit me a PM, we´ll talk. Im not sure what to make of this. Its 1am and it hit me, maybe i should talk to someone here. Im not sure im welcome here. Not sure i want to be here. I just feel like talking, im trying to make sense of these last few years. Still smokefree.

Yeah my book would be pretty boring too! The reader would certainly die of boredom. Im glad i have the discipline to not write such a boring book. Im even smiling today at myself at how nice im being; the target audience is very lucky. Anyway, this is goodbye from me, this forum has done its service well but i got a life to rebuild in 2019. Im clearing the cookies (yummy!) and not visiting the forum anymore. Im done with smoking after all. Goodybe my dear pig! And please, cherish life...life is a beautiful thing :) Peace and love ?

I decided not to write it. Time to look into the future not the past. Snowy new year!
  9. Hey im with you Dave, a big nope.
  10. Tammy you have a natural talent for writting. Have you consider trying to make it as a writter? Im putting my ideas for a book myself. Anyway, i congratulate you for being 6 months smokefree, thats a big achievement. You should be really happy. Please celebrate, and please, write more quality material here on the forum.
  11. Hey blur, whats up lad, I wish to give you some hope. For quite some time i didnt make it past day 1. Im serious, i couldnt handle a single day without smoking, had to go buy a pack at 8pm. Now you must be asking, well, how the hell is he almost 3 years smoke free? See, its a combination of many factory. Personally i think the two most important are determination and luck. Determination is everything when you´re quitting smoking; you will have to endure day after day, and it probably wont be easy for a while. Luck because everyday life is chaotic and unpredictable, so you might enconter a really big stress 1 week in and give in. In my case i think i had a lot of luck. Everything just clicked...i never made it past, i believe, 2 weeks without smoking. So, anyone failing at the very beginning know that there is hope. I believe you´re capable of quitting smoking, anyone is. Its really, so so so simple. Are you ready to embark on a extremely rewarding journey and save your life? We have lots of folks here that are willing to help you. PM me anytime you like. Wishing you sucess!
  12. Im sorry im late to the party Dorreen, i was not paying much attention to this section of the forum. I hope you had a great day! You deserve it, you´re a pot of sweetness. My favorite lad on the forum besides my babe pig. Sorry, i...i just love the pig.

Some years ago, i was very depressed, cut my arm and what not. What i did besides medication was lots of walking, eating healthy and sleeping 8 hours a day. And trying to stay positive and active, thats important. So, do you have any hobby? Maybe you like reading, how about you start reading some cheerful books? Just an example. The more you think about depression the more depressed you feel. The mind has a way of controlling everything, placebo ect, so keep fighting your inner dialogue and you should come out on the other side ok. Theres no incurable depression. I know a mother who lost a son, she was devastated for months, maybe years, but now she leads a normal life. Time cures all wounds. Give your inner warrior a chance to shine!
  14. Congrats Oldy. 1 year is the sweet milestone, you must now proudly consider yourself a nonsmoker. Please dont put that crap again in your lungs id be very upset. Should be easy now though...
  15. This one has been stuck with me for a while. I suppose you guys dont really understand Portuguese, but the message of this song is really beautiful.
  16. Thank you linda! I have friends in real life you know...but internet pals are good too. Thank you Peter, glad i was of help to you. Sorry about those strange PMs you received, i was thinking about someone else. And i was adjusting to new medication. I seem fine today actually!
  17. Thanks Dorreen. Well its has been 10 years and im still a broken mess. I think, theres nothing worse in life than loosing a person you love. My grampa, well he suffered a lot so in the end i was, strangely, almost glad he died. I suppose that doesnt make me a monster? I miss him, but he had a long and productive life. Now my friend, that shit brooke me. You´re never really the same after; i had no mental illness before my friends death. I agree, this forum is a good cause, and i like hanging on the internet a bit, so this will be my corner to relax and reach out to fellow smokers.

Wait that a pretty pathetic heart. Here, heres a heart https://imgur.com/a/qnUeGWC for you guys ❤️
  19. Thank you buttocks, that sound like the perfect description of me. Hey check the other thread, im staying! So ill still give you a good spanking once in a while. I want to help people quit smoking. Well i miss my best friend who is dead (hanged by a rope), my grampa who died in the beginning of the year (old age) and i miss the company of one special person. Other than that i have my whole family i believe. My friends are also all fine as far as i know. I miss...the old days. Seems like life will fade away into sorrow and disappointment. Even when i lost my best friend, i was still fairly joyful. These days i get colder as i get older. I seem to be led by misfortune and it really hurts me on chritmas; did you know that this holidays season is the season of suicides? You can see why. Imagine feeling alone when everyone is making dog jokes about you. Above all i miss my innocence, the true joy of chritmas when i had when i was a child...that shit aint returning for any of us isnt it?

We all go through hard times. Sometimes all it takes is a mistake and your whole life get turned upside down. The important thing is to keep a smile on your face and keep going. Hey im going through a hard time right now and i try to keep positive. Sure sometimes i feel depressed too but life must go on...
  21. Well done Kate. Do as many SOSs as possible, we´re here for you. You can send me a PM if you like, i will cheer you up. Oh, and dont smoke! You´re doing fine; when it comes to quitting smoking the endurance you go through is always justificable if you manage to quit smoking. Even if you climb walls, it was worth it. So go ahead lad!
  22. A crave can be seen as a good thing; its an alert, a reminder. Last night i was out of antipsychotics, so i spent the night shaking and thinking bad things. Thats positive, its a punch in the face to remind me to stock on medicine. The thing is, when it comes to nicotine cravings it comes to remind you that you´re winning the battle. Just think of a crave as another punch you took and still stood up. Each crave will be weaker and soon it will fade away into little cuddles that you will laugh at. And then you will be a nonsmoker. So cheer up lad, go ahead! Im really glad you dindt smoke.
