  6. Oh yeah, I'm familiar with The Connells. I listened to them quite a bit back in college. I never saw them in concert but they were definitely a good band
  7. Hope things are ok over there. Things aren't predicted to be as bad here in Raleigh, NC but we are supposed to get some rough weather from Irma. More Johnny Cash (with the Clash's Joe Strummer) covering a Bob Marley classic...

  17. Please believe that things get better as you go along. It is rough at first but it does get better. It will be a roller-coaster early on but stick with it. In the long term, you will be very grateful that you stuck with this and quit smoking for good.

  19. You did a great job by posting an SOS. Do whatever you have to do as long as you don't smoke. The first few days are the roughest but things do get better. I can promise you that. You have to fight through these moments to get there, though, but it is definitely worth it. Nothing good will come out of lighting up a cigarette. Keep the quit.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
