  1. Because you're much healthier than a supermodel. :)
  2. No matter what, don't smoke. Make yourself a promise to never smoke again. I didn't see you pledge to not smoke today. Get in the habit of doing this each day.
  3. Very true. Allen Carr changed it all for me. Such a different but true way to look at smoking. I read it, bought what he was saying and I give that book much of the credit right along with ex-smokers here to help me navigate the rough waters.
  4. Today I will not smoke. Life is no much more enjoyable without being enslaved to a weed.
  5. I don't know if I've ever meditated. Certainly not sitting on the floor with my legs crossed with armed outstretched with my thumb and index finger forming a circle. I would have to say no. When was the last time you listened to Mozart?

    hola!

Tracey!! What a pleasant surprise to hear from the blog thief! lol Glad that seeing and smelling cigarette smokers is making your quit stronger. View them as carrying around a ball and chain because that's what smoking is. Enjoy your holiday and thanks for checking in! :)
  7. If you like U2, forward to the 4:15 mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4LZ_DQwXLA

  9. That's your problem. Stop being a glutton and eat normal, human being sized portions.
  10. My symmetrical teeth. Would you rather spend a weekend in the wilderness in a log cabin or in a busy metro area out and about the town?
  11. That's a great find. Love it.
  12. Bull. Two rolls as in this? If you're eating two rolls of this, then that's your problem. Try eating 1/2 of one.
  13. :clapping:
  14. Whenever I burn a mixed CD, I always date them. I found one in my garage from 4.5 years ago and tossed in the stereo in the garage while I was grilling. This was the first song on the CD so now it's stuck in my head. Great song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPCcZCi-6FI
  15. First, the cream cheese is where you're getting most of the fat calories from. Second, how much of it do you eat? I asked you how many calories.
  16. Unbelievable.
  17. What kind of freaking sushi are you eating? How many calories? Where are you getting your information from?
  18. It's Helltown, Ohio. Creepy. I had to Google it because I never heard of it. How did you hear of it? That is the scary part. :girl_witch:
  19. :help: Just eat the sushi. It's low cal. Is it not? I bought a pack from Wegman's last week and the whole thing was under 300 cals. Life is too short. Eat the sushi and don't fuss over the difference of a 100 calories.
  20. I get so much alumni stuff in the mail. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHk84a-9c8Y
  21. That is beautiful part of Ohio. Have you ever seen the outdoor play "Tecumseh"? It's in Chillicothe. I've seen it 3 times and loved it. Back when I was in college (Kent State University) I was really into Allen Eckert's books and after I read "The Frontiersman" about Simon Kenton, Tecumseh and others about the settling of Ohio, I had to see the play. The horses, gunfire etc., awesome!!! If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it.
  22. One wife, 2 daughters. Enough to make a believer out of anybody. lol
  23. Not just what is going to come out, but how it comes out, the look on your face when it comes out, the "tone" when it comes out, if you're making eye contact when it comes out, if you have food in your mouth when it comes out, if you yawn when it comes out, if you look at somebody else when it comes out...too many things to consider so it's just easier to send text messages.
  24. :acute:
  25. That would be unethical. [1] Footnotes: [1] Liking your own posts that is. lol

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
