  4. You're a Saint for taking on such a job and I know it's a thankless job but you're doing it because you know it's the right thing to do. My hat is off to you @Charmaine H It's a good thing you are quit. More energy for you and you're no longer a slave to nicotine so you can focus on the job at hand.

  7. Yes, you can do without the additional stress to think about when it is safe to have a fag or you are in withdrawal until 9 pm. Not smoking is a blessing.

  15. This is a trying time in my life. I have to take extra care of my grandma. She was in a rehab facility for about a month because she has fallen a few times. The nurses did not do a lot to help strengthen her legs. Now that my grandma is back home, it takes two people to help get her around, get her dressed for bed, and to actually get her in the bed. I have to stay at my grandparents house from 5pm to 9pm. The overnight nurse will take over from there. I am glad I quit smoking. I am too busy watching over my grandma, making sure she stays in the bed and not fall, to go out and take a puff. With my grandma, I cannot take my eyes off her for a second.
  16. I am saying NOPE to smoking for today.

  23. Gday Sorry not much to say. She home, has a medicated patch on one leg. So she’s out of pain and sleeps lots. Buts she is Home. Off tomorrow to get the patch removed. Will the results be back. It’s a case of waiting. She is home. She is happy. That’s a start.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
