  16. You are doing really great @GonSo, keep doing what you are doing. Your kittens are so adorable!!
  17. Have a wonderful time Stew!! Looking forward to seeing your pictures of that beautiful scenery of the Pacific Coast. How far down do you go? Do you go into Oregon? Enjoy the time with your family! I know you will do well with not smoking because you will be busy with your family!
  18. Cogratulations on 9 months smoke free, @GonSo Great job!
  19. Congrats! Nine months is awesome! Keep enjoying your freedom from nicotine addiction (and those kitties too lol).
  20. So sorry you are having another wave of cravings @Pilgrim. As @QuittingGirl said, it’s not physical at this point - it’s psychological. Addict mind lurks in the tall grass, hoping to catch us unawares. But you don’t need to give in! You’ve built all kinds of strong quitting muscles now. You know like @Minnie Mouse says that cravings are not commands. They’re just noise. And your quit is too precious to throw away. So let those cravings drift on by, like a bad smell that the wind blows away. Going for a run is a great idea, as is staying connected to this forum. NOPE!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
