  19. One of the most difficyult part of the long term quit is keeping our thinking on track. By that I mean not allowing those cravings and memories of smoking occupy our thinking on a regular basis. Sometimes we actually have to force our thoughts to the positives we're experiencing since we've quit. More money in our pockets, freedom from the need to go find a place to smoke every 1/2 hour or so, better health, more energy, more time to enjoy other things in life. Paying special attention to where your thinking is headed and redirecting that to positive thoughts can make a huge difference in achieving your goal of not only quitting but doing it while being happier about it

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
