  8. My hot water tank gave up this morning. Spraying all over the basement. I just ordered a new one and will pick it up and install it. Gonna be tough with the left arm still in recovery from rotator cuff surgery. I am being tested pretty constant today. But I will KTQ.
  9. Congratulations on approaching one month nicotine free. Prior to quitting for good, I switched over to vaping for a while. I started getting headaches and feeling really off, worse than I felt with cigarettes. I don't know for a fact, but I really think I was consuming far more nicotine through vaping. It is best to leave both the cigarettes and vapes behind and live a nicotine free life. Keep up the great work.
  10. I think it’s a solid approach—simple, practical, and easy to maintain.

  14. Welcome to the decade club! Congratulations!
  15. Nicotine changes the chemistry in your brain and it takes time for it to reset. Receptors in the brain have become so accustomed to nicotine dosing that adrenaline is released when the brain is denied. The good news is that we can heal and it is so worth it. Congratulations on one month!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
