With everything the Eagles went through this year I believe they should take it.

It's gonna be a good game that is for sure!

I don't follow the NFL much but it seems to me that in a BIG game like this, pretty much anything can happen. I guess that's true for most games but, the surprises seem to come out more often when the stakes are high.

I don't think anyone would deny that Brady is a force to be reckoned with. An amazing athlete to be still doing what he is after so many years playing. There won't be another like him for a long while I expect. Even a football moron like me knows that.

And by the way, why do they start this thing so late (at least in my time zone). Could they not play it on a Sat. when we don't have to get up at 6:00 AM to get to work the next day?

Geez!! I need my beauty sleep :)

After seeing video and reading about the Eagle fans behavior following the recent Vikings game, geez louise.  Patriots for the win!

^^^ I heard something on the car radio today where they said; "The only remaining question is, will it be Happy Eagles Fans or Sad Eagles Fans that burn the city of Philadelphia to the ground tomorrow night after the game :51_scream:"

I didn't know what they were talking about but I guess there must have been some unruly behavior after the game against the Vikings?

I heard about that..the eagles fans were throwing beer cans and cursing at the Viking fans and this was before the game....there was a story where a child was almost hit by a beer can...the fans that did that were low class and showed horrible sportsmanship....I don't even follow football and am tired of the patriots but if I am going to be rooting silently for the pats just cause.

Philly fans have always been a rough crowd.  Back in the day when the Eagles played at The Vet, they converted part of the stadium into a courtroom and jail.  There were so many drunk maniacs in the stands they couldn't haul them all away.

During baseball season, Phillies fans used to throw batteries at the relief pitchers in the road team's bullpen.  And of course there's the whole case of Eagles fans booing Santa Claus and pelting him with snowballs.

Welcome to the City of Brotherly Love and F*** YOU!

I love all the memes!  lolol

I cannot wait for the game.  having friends and family over.  Lots of high calorie food and drink.  I don't know why I didn't take tomorrow off from work...

Good luck Eagle fans!

For me, it is all about the food and the commercials...

We don't get to see the commercials up here because they substitute them for good ol Canadian content - lol. It's a huge bone of contention here every year. Even the US cable feeds sub the crappy Canadian content commercials so we miss out on all that. I suppose I could figure out a way to stream it through my computer and connect that to the TV monitor if I were more industrious :D

I'm going to be slow cooking some back-ribs and "special recipe" baked beans. The ribs were prepared and have been soaking in marinade for the last day and a half. Haven't had a good Rib feast in awhile so looking forward to that :)

My husband is doing the same.  He and my BIL have been so excited for their feast!  They've been slow cooking all day.  Enjoy. :)  Sucks about the commercials.  Other than the last few minutes of the game, the commercials are my favorite part.  Well, the dip is my favorite, but commercials are up there.  It's too bad they don't make commercials that good all the time lol

This time of year, especially with the winter we've had this year, we all deserve to have a little party and over indulge for at least one evening :6_smile:

Time for the puppy bowl!!

Wow - Pats just got their pants pulled down before half time. Out coached on that play for a TD no less :51_scream:

^^^Loved it --  like I said before go Eagles (it's the team and how they play not how the fans behave)

Sad to watch my team lose but it was a great game.  Congrats to the Eagles!
