April 2, 201511 yr F uck getting old... my body hurts. Ya. My final intake paper-work with the Physiotherapist, at my COPD Rehab, indoor track, weight training and exercise rooms are next week. He said he is going to get me started with it all. I'm not looking forward to the aches and pains after. Funny thing, the pain and stiffness, usually is more pronounced after days 2 and 3 now. I remember when I was younger, it was the next day, and usually full-recovery by day 2. Getting old f*cking sucks, in some ways.
April 2, 201511 yr Hi mike... Thought you might find this usueful... Tony went to c.o.p.d rehab classes...10weeks in all..... The excersizes are very gentle...and nurses monitor your bold pressure after each excersize.... Tony found it very helpful....he enjoyed it.... I hope you benieft from this too.... If I can help you any further....ask away my friend....
April 3, 201511 yr oh for fcuks sake, why am I surrounded by twunts.... At least I run well pissed off.
April 3, 201511 yr Oh f uck myofascial release is painful, so painful. And I'm beyond grateful to have such a skilled person working on me. It is truly a "no pain, no gain" scenario. More to come Monday morning.

If I can help you any further....ask away my friend.... Hi Doreen. Just saw your post. The nurses, tend to hide. Just as well methinks. I'm in for the full-meal deal. Long-term, with the physiotherapists and gym trainers (or whatever they like to call themselves). Thanks, for the note. :) Addendum: I forgot to swear. Nope, didn't like that one. hmm ... "numb-nuts", they're everywhere!

If I can help you any further....ask away my friend.... Doreen...I'm wondering...my grandmother has really bad COPD, wonder if this sort of thing could be any help to her. She is on steroids and nebulizer constantly. Before all of this she was very fit, but I am thinking this is something that could make her lungs stronger?
April 8, 201511 yr Hi colleen.... I'm convinced it would help....the excersizes are so gentle....it's done in the hospital with nursing staff that go around the apparatus with you....then after each one ..they sit you down and take your blood pressure...and make sure you have water... I used to go and sit and watch them all...oxygen tanks are supplied... I had a conversation with most of them....and they all said they had beniefted from going..... It's a 10 week course here.....ok we had it through the NHS..... When it's over ..they get a little excersize plan to do at home....depending how much each person can do.... If I can help any further...don't hesitate to ask sweetheart...xx
April 8, 201511 yr Dreamt last night I fell off the train and started smoking. It was so F u c k I n g real!! I went through all the emotions in my dream all while smoking and holding that cig. My cousin Steve was with me and told me to get back on the train. When I woke up I was so glad it was a dream but WTF it was so real and so was Steve.

April 9, 201511 yr Why is I can't be round smokers, I have come back from my short break feeling all depressed. I know the cig holds nothing but my brain won't take it in. They all seemed so happy and I felt like a grumpy bitch because I was jealous, the fresh smoke smelled lovely. I know I am suppose to be all over this but I'm not. Sorry I always seem to post when things are bad. If I had stayed one more day on holiday I probably would have smoked. Not really solid in my quit am I. I miss it. And here is some swearing poo bum poo
April 9, 201511 yr Maybe I am just wasting your effort and time and I gonna fcuk up anyway dont feel like posting is wasting our time.....you have nine months now .....you are stronger than you think.....make a list as to the benefits of not smoking ....read your own response to sos post if you have one if you dont it is a good idea to make one to remind yourself that it is not a good idea to smoke....post an sos if you feel the need to of course.....you have got this hang in there.
April 9, 201511 yr Don't you ever think like that Gabby, hell no. Any of us could potentially fall off until the point we "get it", the point of staying quit is to get you to that point. So it's not today, so f ucking what? Maybe it will be tomorrow, maybe a month but you will get there if you don't smoke and keep learning about what you enjoy about being quit. Sometimes life is so bloody tough we can't see the wood for the trees, but there is always something wonderful in the quit, always, just some days are harder to see and we don't remember the easy days when we sail through now not thinking about it at all! So you are already part there. Stop trying to work out what's bad and flip it to remember whats good. Cause hey buddy, you are still not smoking!! Stop looking for reasons to allow a relapse though, not acceptable my beauty!! Much f ing love. xx
April 9, 201511 yr Aww gabby.... We are all just taking it one day at a time.... I sit with my close friend who smokes every day.... I talk to myself each day before I meet her....what a shame she still doesn't get to have a lovely smoke free life... I sit and listen to that husky voice....that raspy cough....clearing the throat.... It's a great reminder...errr.....a great fckin reminder... Hugs xxx
