September 23, 201411 yr Just found out where the fruit flies are coming from. I found a bag in our closet that belongs to my roommate and there was rotting fruit in the bag! A swarm of fruit flies quickly exited the closet along with the bag and now they're just hanging out in my apartment. Fcuking nasty. To get rid of the fcuking flies, put out bowls of apple cider vinegar with a couple of drops of dish washing liquid. They are attracted to in and will drown...you can put plastic wrap over it and poke holes in it to make sure if they go in the bowl, but not the liquid they still can't get out...
