August 16, 20206 yr It's hot as Hades here this weekend and us spoiled central coasters ain't use to it! Most homes here don't have air conditioning and mines one of them and it looks like this heatwave is here through Wednesday 😵 This is me:

They could just come in on August 1 and tell everybody: "it's going to be a hot and humid day with a chance of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening." They could just run that on a loop until Labor Day and take an extended vacation.

I read where one of the fires, in California, was started by a gender reveal party and they were going to charge them. A sad end to a happy moment!

Wow! Yeah, lucky that you dodged that bullet! Although, looking at Windy.com the Med. looks pretty calm at the moment; 3-4 foot waves, which for a cruise ship is nothing. I'll keep my eye on it throughout the week though to see what develops.
