Thanks Jillar, I need to get some sleep got up at 4:30, only got about 5 hours and they were not good ones.  I used to be able to sleep 10/12 hours when I was still smoking. Have not decided if that was good or bad.

@Kris, you can always just reply to a topic you've or someone else has already started instead of starting a whole new one every time. That may make it easier for you to find your posts............

Jillar,

What is your problem?

Kris

@Kris, you seem to be having trouble finding the posts you've written and making duplicate threads. I'm only trying to help you. Making threads all over the board makes it very hard for other members to keep up.

Please don't talk to me like that when I'm only trying to help you.....

Don't worry your selfs, I will not start any more threads or make any posts.

I will only come here to read and watch videos. I am sorry that you feel the need to do what you have done but I am too old and have gone thru much to let you bother me anymore.  Just forget it and I will to. I wish you only the best health and happiness.

Do me a favor and please check on Kate18 and make sure she is Okay

@Kris, no one has said you can't post. I was simply trying to make things easier for you in order for you to find what you've posted instead of posting it again on a new thread.

Why post that you don't think you're posting right if you're going to get offended when we try to tell you?

Hey @Kris, Please do keep posting as we want you to succeed in your quit and perhaps allow for the fact that mods will do what they need to do to keep the site organized.  It's all good.

@jillar is a Mod and is simply doing her job.  It's not intended to mean anything other than keep the site clean.  Being assertive when faced with rudeness is correct.  However, we don't know what you're going through and don't think it needs to be the end.  I think everyone will continue to support your quit.

(One of the techniques we're taught is to never post in reaction - just leave it in draft and come back later to decide whether to post it.  )

Yes, I know when to step back and think, That is what I have done.  And yes, you do not know what I have gone thru and am going thru. I was assertive when I felt someone was being rude to me. That person did not reply but had someone else do it. Now they have brought you into a situation. Two more people on your side have been brought into a problem which should have been handled by the two parties involved.  Things do not resolve if there are other people involved saying or doing things that have confused the initial problem.  I do not work there so I don't have to try to fix this.  I am very grateful to the people that are on your board for their support and for the time they spent talking with me. I still think that the best recourse we have is for me to not directly participate but use the site for information to help me to quit smoking. I do not want to have conflict with anyone.

I have not been a member for long, I am sure I will not be missed. Thank you for everything this last week, you do help people on this journey!

Sincerely,

Kris

I don't understand how trying to help you navigate our boards came across as rude. And I have answered every question and tried to explain myself clearly to you.

Again, don't know what the initial problem was.... As far as the other people, when you are posting something publicly that is what is going to happen. If you want something left private do so in a pm. I will tell you straight up though because of how you are reacting to my trying to help you is that any pm that is sent from you to me I will add @Doreensfree too.

@Kris Sometimes I was vey sensitive when I quit, sometimes I didn't even like myself. Lol

But don't give up on the train. We are all here to help each other. And jillar has always been the first

one for me to jump in and try to help . So lets do the little acronym QTIP QUIT TAKING IT PERSONAL

I'm sure it wasn't meant to be. Tomorrow is a new day!!

@Kris I think that we all tend to forget that we are all a bunch of addicts dealing with withdrawal and other issues that most certainly effect the way we perceive and respond to statements sometimes. Especially us newbies! I don’t think anyone on here would purposefully slight or malign someone. Relax this evening and join us again in the a.m. We are thankful to have you with us on our journeys. Your comments can be a huge help to someone one day. Please keep your quitstory updated for others. 🤗

@Kris, no need to be over sensitive, though I suppose you are feeling very vulnerable, so early in your quit. No one here is mean, or has a problem with you. @jillar was merely being helpful. I, too, was getting confused by your multiple posts. For instance, I think I have initiated 2, 3 at most , since I have joined. You can just update your original introductory post, like many here do. It’s much easier for the rest of us to follow you, that way. So, relax, keep posting. You need us, and we need you, too.

I just rubbed preparation h all over this thread all should be good now 🤪🤪
