May 7, 20206 yr Way to go Mona, You got through this week. You should reward yourself on a job well done. We need to reward ourselves when we achieve certain benchmark goals. It's hard work achieving these milestones. Awesome job and keep it up.

I'm not going to say that this has been easy but not too terribly bad so far. The nicotine stains on my fingers are gone. Smoking affects my blood circulation and I have not yet noticed much improvement there. It must be due to the patches because in all of my cold turkey attempts, I noticed some improvement within one or two days. I guess I'll just have to wait a little while for that. Overall, I'm feeling positive.

I haven't rewarded myself yet but when I went to the grocery store yesterday, I was surprised at how much money was in my wallet. Then I thought, yeah, that's right, I'm not wasting $7.50 every day on cigarettes. Makes a big difference! Maybe I'll treat myself to something when I get to one month. You keep your great quit going too Mac...I'm right on your tail!
