That's about the same ratio with the family and friends who've put forward a guess.  Most are guessing that the baby is a little girl.

My mother-in-law is predicting a baby girl.  And she has an impressive track record when it comes to guessing the gender of unborn babies.

Me and Sugar Britches seem to be the only ones who don't have a strong opinion one way or the other.

Nope.  Didn't even think to ask.

We got a full report with a bunch of information in it after the visit.  I'll look at it and see if the heart rate was documented.

Gee, can you see if the baby has that extra little handle?   Couples today like to find out the sex of the baby early.  Let us know Boo so we can start shopping for baby.

I'm trying to be patient.  Not making any promises, but I'm trying.

Hopefully we'll know in February what the sex of the baby is.

I know one thing, the baby's living quarters are going to be in tip-top shape when she or he gets home.  With an abundance of nervous energy and seven months of anticipation ahead, I've got several baby related projects around the house lined up.  If all goes according to plan, the kid's nursery is going to be a five-star set-up.

Make sure you have a rocking chair or glider... heaps handy for those middle of the night feeds.

We already have the rocking chair for the nursery.  It belonged to my grandmother, then was passed on to my mother, most recently my sister had the chair and she offered it to us.  My sister and nephew worked together and cleaned, stripped, and refinished the chair.  Looks good as new and dates back to when furniture was built to last.

Family tradition...I'll be rocking my kid to sleep in the same chair my grandmother used to rock my dad to sleep in.
