  1. A caterpillar climbs out from a cocoon, unfurls her wings to dry in the sun, and leaps into a gentle breeze to fly. But a year ago, a special butterfly did this, Doreen. With a pure determination, she jumped and flew to freedom. We all deserve to be free; this is one butterfly I'm glad to see!

  20. That is the nature of addiction (I sorry you don't like that term - use our disease if you like that better, lizard brain or nicodemon). We have to put it to sleep by not feeding it. The part of grief over quitting cigarettes you haven't reached yet is acceptance, you are really close, I promise. In two months, go give the store clerk two fives and thank her.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
