Yea, I know. Somedays for me were so bad I just went to bed hoping tomorrow would be a little better and it almost always was. You're halfway through the hardest month of them all, you got this 😊

No, it's not easy but you are finding the strength from within yourself and that's what will get you there

You are doing great up in smoke. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll be on the other side before you know it 😊

I forgot to find more railroad spikes for you !

Soon, you will not have nicotine on your mind.

      and

if you concentrate on replacing nicotine thoughts with any other thoughts,

      this process will go quicker.

      You quit !  Congratulations !

  11. Don't let it bother you.....I am on day 6, a week tomorrow never made it this far....Just reaffirm and start over.

start your own thread in something you are interested in.

you will only fail yourself and this quit if you choose to do so.

and there is no good reason to fail.  not one.

Yes, that 1st week is hell! In fact, the whole 1st month is hell...but it gets easier if you think of it as one day at a time and keep moving forward. I did a lot of deep breathing, drinking water and eating twizzlers and going to sleep super early to get through the tough times. When the days start adding up....it became more real and motivating. Do you really want to lose how far you have come????

PS I had 2 previous quits spaced about 25 years apart and lost both of them for silly reasons...I will  not make that mistake with this one!!!

  13. 4 frigging days now and those railroad spikes are looking delicious...
  14. Three Days Dip Free....A long face from the doctor is making sure I stay that way...🤬

  15. Well the Devil better not get in my way or I will punch his ass OUT! Wife is already wishing I would go get a can...LoL...
  16. There is no freedom......I want to run out to the store now and buy a can but I know I cannot or should not......

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
