You did great yesterday Rose and now that you're armed with your tools I'm betting you'll be fine I used my JAC (jillars air cigarette) for months and it worked for me every time. You may even want to pass those clues on to your hubby. And speaking of him, how cool he's decided to quit as well We've had several couples since I've been on the forums quit together and done great. We've also had many successful quitters who still have a spouse who smokes. They, like you, quit for themselves and no one else. Have a great beach day and we're here if you need us

Well @notsmokinjo let's put it to a test to see if you feel more normal. My most recent random thought was whether or not I should put my jammies on before Big Bang Theory starts at 8:00pm. WHICH reminded me that I needed to wash my whites and forgot to WHICH made me wonder if I remembered to get hubby clothes out of the dryer. And then earlier when I was picking up dog pooh I was thinking I can't save all them roly polys that are dining on it. The ones I can't shake off can get out of the plastic bag as long as I don't tie it shut. Therefore being in the relocation program and not the imminent death program. Then I was thinking that the potato bread hubby bought for sandwiches would probably be really good for French toast.

Rose, you're doing great by posting for help. Deep breaths. ... What I did was used my air cigarette for the first few months of my quit. I just pretended I was holding an actual cigarette and then went through the motions of "smoking" it. It worked great at tricking my mind into thinking I was smoking a real one. You may want to try that?
