  1. Love your attitude lml, keep reminding yourself of that in the coming days/weeks to come. The brain fog is different for everyone, mine lasted a few weeks so yours may last longer than five days. Be kind to yourself and let your body dictate what it needs. That means if it's hungry, eat. Craving sweets, eat a candy. Tired, rest etc. Our bodies are remarkable at being able to try to right the wrongs we did by smoking
  2. And out came twelve months I put in the bird that keeps eating the rabbit's food
  3. Drink
  4. Congratulations sparkzzz!
  5. Wow, that's awesome that she does all that already @notsmokinjo. You gotta good kid! And if she's uncoordinated it makes sense that you wouldn't want her to iron. So maybe you can make her a deal to cook 2 nights a week in exchange for you ironing her uniforms lol.
  6. Welcome aboard Jan, my apologies for not welcoming you publicly sooner
  7. @notsmokinjo that's the way we earned extra money to buy things we wanted. We got our allowance each week if we did our chores but if we wanted something that wasn't a necessity we did extra stuff. I still think at 12 kids should be doing their own laundry and ironing their own clothes though. But that's just the way I was raised. I have no children to back up my beliefs. Just spoiled rotten pets lol
  8. @notsmokinjo at 12 years old I was ironing my dad's clothes for extra money. I got 10¢ for hankies, 15¢ for ties and pants and the big payday of 25¢ for shirts. So I agree that maybe you shouldn't be ironing the kids uniforms
  9. Thinking about you today rozuki, I hope you're getting stronger and feeling better everyday :)

Thank you! I have been home from hospital for 3 weeks now...and it seems my life does not allow for relaxing and recuperating!! It has been crazy at my house!!!! Haven't really had the chance to get on here much but I think about this forum and you all every day....and I thank my lucky stars I quit smoking 15 months ago and stayed quit thanks to having a place to vent, play games, etc.....

  10. Glad you're having a good day today lml and sunny. The good days, in time, will outweigh the bad days and then soon enough the bad days will just be a memory. That's why it was important to me to read all my posts each month just so I wouldn't forget where I came from.
  11. Congratulations on half a year quit weegie woman. I'm so glad to be on your journey with you
  12. Wow, I did not know that. I definitely won't be calling anyone from another country puddin. Who would have thought since pudding is so yummy?
  13. Executioner
  14. @notsmokinjo not at all. It's used mostly in the South the same way darlin is. It's an insult in Australia?
  15. Isn't puddin a term of endearment across the pond like it is here?
  16. Lmao Jan, I never heard of wanking either when I saw it here. Had to Google it. But jilling off?! I do like definition 6 the best, to smack someone with a pickle!
  17. You can claim it but can you prove it?
  18. Where'd you get a pic of Shane?
  19. Shane are you showing your feminine side again?
  20. And out came a smooth baby's butt with no more diaper rash I put in the Amazon Dot
  21. And out came a miniature mariachi band I put in this cold my hubby gave me
  22. Hmmm, we probably do have all the different Palmolive but this is my dish soap: Do you guys have Tide laundry detergent there? (Its the best imo)
  23. Our Palmolive is dish soap, isn't yours?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
