Thanks @Lilly, in my last car I had to buy minutes every year and use the hands free calling that comes with onstar because it wouldn't pair with my flip phone. The minutes expire in a year unless you buy more and then they roll over so I had over 200 unused minutes when the car got totaled!

Music from my flip phone? Lol Thank you for the clues. I'll try that the next time I'm in the car. So since I was able to pair my phone then I guess I wouldn't need the onstar hands free calling?

  18. Sarge is only one voice here Ankush. I know from experience that the SOS works. I used it a couple times myself in the early days of my quit and I'm so glad I did. Yes, if you've set your mind to smoke you're going to smoke regardless but when you're to the point of looking for cigarettes then you owe it to yourself to post and let us try to help you through it.
  19. @Ankush, well done on getting past that bad crave. Just remember to SOS BEFORE you cave to a crave so that we can try to help you past it. You don't want to give up those awesome days quit you have now and start over again!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
