  5. Welcome Matt and congratulations on taking back your life. We have lots of newbies here but they all have different quit dates and many are well past the first week. 2019 quitters have named themselves the Ash kickers. It's another way to be bonded with your fellow newbies. Here's the logo if you'd like it for your signature

  8. Linda, I've met quite a few people over the years since quitting smoking and none of them compares to the transformation I was privileged to witness in you. Reci is spot on with the butterfly analogy and being a part of your amazing journey is something I'll remember fondly for the rest of my life. Thank you for paying it forward, thank you for all the laughs, thank you for being you and thank you for your friendship. You're a beautiful, smart, self confident ex smoker! Have a great day, and celebrate this awesome achievement

  19. Sorry to hear that steveo, I always craved one more when good things happened so I get it. Remember your reasons to quit and refer back to them whenever you feel yourself caving. Glad you're going to quit again tomorrow. Maybe try sticking closer to the train these first few months? Or better yet, taking the One Year Commitment. It really helped me. Glad you got to see your daughter, four years is a long time apart. I'm sure all your kids will benefit from a non smoking dad

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
