  1. You can also make a list of all the great benefits of quitting that you've already noticed and keep adding to it as new ones come about You're doing great Jeff, your wife must be so proud of you already.

  3. There's never going to be a good time to quit when you're an addict. You're just going to keep coming up with excuses why now isn't a good time. If you were a member of quitnet then you probably know all this already. So why not just buckle down and let's get you quit. It's a really sweet revenge against exes to see you improving yourself post relationship too! Set a quit date, commit and quit. You can do it, we're all proof.....

  17. I don't remember what was worse, the constant thoughts of cigarettes or the insomnia. But what I do remember was the day when I realized hours had gone by and I HADN'T thought about smoking. I also remember the first morning after quitting when I woke up in the best mood I'd been in in years. It was like the fog was finally starting to clear. I even sang in the shower lol. You'll get there too Jeff as long as you stick to your awesome quit. And if the depression gets too bad then please call your Dr. A lot of times they can prescribe something, if only temporary, to help you with that. You're doing great Jeff!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
