What is ridiculous about a sport that frankensteins rugby, soccer, irish football, basketball and the Aboriginal game mangrook... blows them all up onto a field more than 2.5 times the size AND takes away any protective gear.... it is the game for the modern, superfit gladiator... and clearly the bestest game on the face of the earth. Rugby... union over league.... although who ever heard of a sport that you have to go backwards to move forwards... but I just don't get the american game which is the least football of the lot. To watch: Hurling or Curling

Well done philly.... that's a rough few days indeed... but you should be really proud of yourself. Its hard in the early days when life starts kicking you back but it is completely possible to do which you have proved. Head up, shoulders back and just keep marching straight through the crap because you are doing it. Just think, with the money issues, not smoking is helping out and giving you more available cash. I know its not as much over there as it is here in Aus but it all ads up.

But they sooooo different...... hmmm if you assume live... and you include all the pagentry and other stuff goin on at the track then it would be the g-gs.... especially with the bookies bettting ring.... but if your looking at the fumes, and sounds, and adrenaline aspect and then it has to be the drags.... um....oh.... this is surprisingly hard... purely because of the added excitment of the gambling its the G-Gs... (wouldn't really wanna watch either on the telly) To Play (assume your body has no issues and you are fit): touch footy or softball.

Good Morning to all my fellow NOPErs... its still Men's Health Week and with 3 days to go I am doing my last little nag about mental health. On Tuesday came the reminder that its ok to feel if you're a bloke and its OK to say your feeling crap and ask for help.... yesterday we talked about a time for change, about being the one to ask a friend, or a college R U OK? if they seem down or off or even if you know they have been struggling... open a dialogue and ask... well today is about listening.... part of being a mate is having your mates back, and being in his corner... looking out for him. If your mate was spastic drunk you wouldn't leave him to fend for himself, you'd make sure he was ok and you'd have his back... well mental health works the same way guys, listen to your mates and help them out, even if its just dragging them out to do something like watch a game of sport, or go fishing or whatever it is that rocks ya boats...
