  5. SWITCHEROO... SWITCHEROO .... Its Sundee Slang Spectacular... making Sundays happier wherever you may be... N.. Numbnuts - An idiot... but not as offensive as calling someone a d1ckhead... "I coulda offeeredya a cuppa but numbnuts over there only grabbed beer when he wos out an fergot the frickin milk" (I would offer you cup of tea or coffee but while he was out earlier he forgot to purchase milk)

  11. OMG ... while I was unpacking some boxes for Boo I came across his baby photos.....
  12. conversation points in the moving process:
  13. Welcome to another Sunday of NOPE and what a great place to be. Today is a big day in Sport with both the Wimbledon Men's final and the World Cup Soccer final... so if you're going for France or Croatia or you're going for Anderson or Djokovic I hope you get the result you want. So... for yesterdays missed opportunity to give the French a Shout Out for Bastille Day.... I hope they had a good one and that the air forces error with the flag colours isn't an omen for the soccer. NOPE ... cos nothing controls my life but me! Topic of the day: Sundee Slang Spectacular
  14. Well Bunnings (the hardware store) has a sausage sizzle every saturday and sunday.... and you can usually get one at a school fete... and sometimes safeway will have one out the front on a Satdee.... I want a frickin sausage now.... cooked on a Barbie and not by me... oh where can i get a snag at 1.55am? Why do chick tennis players have to grunt so flippin much?
  15. We have postal votes for those overseas, you can do postal in special circumstances but well lots of us don't trust it... we do have pre-polling booths which open 10 days before the election day (always a saturday) and you can go and vote there but they don't have sausage sizzles or cake stalls. Most people just vote on the day. I love polling day, does that make me weird?
  16. Egg and Soldier Dippers Or the best breakfast in the whole wide world.... VEGEMITE TOAST....
  17. UM.... a big breakfast.... snags, bacon, fried mushrooms, fried tomato, eggs, toast, spinach, boxty, avocado & beans....
  18. And the best bit about voting day.... well its not the queues that's for sure... but the sausage sizzle, hell yeah... who doesn't love the opportunity to by a sausage in bread with sauce and fried onions for $2.50 ($2 without onion)? ^^ 100% true... I have been known to go to the hardware store on the weekend just to get a snag from the sausage sizzle.
  19. So I've been awol from the NOPE but its nothing to be worried about I have been NOPEing, just not in the thread because its been a rough couple of days...and technically its the 15th in Aus but the 14th is Mac n Cheese day... I think I like this a little bit more than pizza but that's only because of bacon... of course the kid loves it... so in honor of Mac n Cheese day I made a big tray... and she knew it was coming.... but what did she do?... she went out for dinner with her dad. So now I have a huge tray of mac n cheese and I think I'll feed it to the dogs. So... to smoking i say NOPE...
  20. Well if we don't vote we get a fine.... is our system better?
  21. When can I start posting Christmas Songs for Christmas in July???.... can I start today and claim its the 12 days of christmas in July???? .... Oh what should I cook for christmas in July dinner.... or should I just book into the Cuckoo or Hofbrauhaus for a German Christmas.... missed the Italian Social Club their Christmas in July was today (14th) but thats just too early..... too many choices.... need to book soon if I'm not doin it meself... or do we head off to P.J. O'Briens or the Fifth Provence for an Irish Christmas..... oh its so hard. But when can i start the songs????? I'll be able to listen to Let It Snow without crying or having a breakdown.... nothing worse when your on you fifth day of weather in the 90's (F)... than listening to songs about snow.
