  8. Lie: if i try to quit, i will be so crazy I will not be able to function. I need to lock myself away while i go through it. Truth. I quit and went about my normal routine without flipping out.

  12. Thanks Marti. I am in Israel right now. Lots of smokers. Luckily my thoughts when I see them are PU rather than wanting to smoke. The way I see it, any one who is smoking now is going to have to quit. We are already quit and have already gone through the fire. I will never go through that again so no need to have a puff and awaken the demon.

  20. I remember feeling very odd during work breaks. I actually had to learn to just sit around and talk to people rather than running outside to smoke. I did for awhile try to like tea so I would have some thing to do during the afternoon break. For the driving time i did alot of gum.
  21. Perfect name! Or you could just call yourself Breakfast

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
