It is a metaphor. The Lido is a special deck on the imaginary Cruise Ship where One Year Quitters go to celebrate. I don't want to be on a Cruise Ship (even metaphorically) so I chose to have a Tardis as a special place to gather and party.

We really really messed up by having our first smoke because we are addicts now. The addiction does not go away. You don't have to act on it, it doesn't rule our lives anymore but, the fact remains that we are addicts. I use the now impotent thoughts to keep me ever vigilant, ever committed to NOPE.
