  12. I just realized that today is my uncle’s birthday. Today would have been his 78th birthday. He died April 5, 2006. He had a heart attack. In the hospital, he began having seizures. After a few days, he was declared brain dead. He was both a drinker and a smoker. I am adding him to the list of why I quit smoking. I am keeping my quit in remembrance of him. I am sure he is in heaven smiling down on me and proud of me for my progression.
  13. I am saying NOPE to smoking for today.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
